Gifts That Keep On Giving – A Holiday Gift Guide for a Happy, Healthy 2019

by

Somehow it’s the Christmas season again!?

Once we’ve wrapped our heads around that crazy fact, it’s time to start thinking about what we’ll be wrapping up for our friends and family this year.

I know the things that line the checkout line of TjMaxx are always calling your name (I’m not sure if I’ve ever made it through unscathed) – but this year, how about gifts that can be used over and over again? Maybe even add some value to someone’s well being? Or how about for YOU, the person that’s worked their butt off all year and gives all of themself to others. I think you deserve something nice this year too.

Here is a small list I’ve compiled of gifts that keep on giving:

Berkey Water Filter – our water is crap. But we’re supposed to drink a ton of it for our health. The Berkey filter removes 99.99999% of chlorine, fluoride, viruses, bacteria, harmful organic compounds, prescription drugs, pesticides, and herbicides. It is great to be able to have control of some things when it comes to our health and environment- one of which we utilize gallons of daily. For the holidays, they’ve packaged multiple products in one with almost $300 in savings. Super big win, I’m kicking myself for missing out on this when I purchased mine. Anywho, this has been one of my best investments in my health to date.

Berkey Shower Head– for similar reasons mentioned above, more so emphasis on not absorbing through all the pores and inhaling all of the chemicals from the water!

Isotonix Greens – A brand new product that is a POWERHOUSE for immune system, digestion, and overall nutrition. Your one stop shop for all my liver loving ingredients: spirulina, wheat grass, barley grass, broccoli, chorella, alfafa grass.  I was buying these separately for my heavy metal detox smoothie – but now they’re in one place! And in the isotonic (most bioavailable) form!  GF, SF, vegetarian, drinkable. #WinWinWin

Juicer– whether you’ve jumped on board the celery train, just want to make your own OJ, or want to incorporate some fun drinks to your morning, a juicer is a household staple. Talk about a nutrition boost. Juicing allows for a readily available boost of the many vitamins and minerals found in fruits and veggies.  This one will last you a long time.

Instapot-  I don’t know how I lived before this! I only got mine last Christmas but have put more miles on it than any other gadget in the house. Chicken ready in 5 min! Potatoes in 8! Full soups under 10 minutes! #SayWhaaaat I purchased mine from Kohl’s for like, $30 with my Kohl’s cash 😉

Thrive Market Membership- for just $59/year, or $5/month, you can give the gift of inexpensive, healthy groceries. This is where I do the majority of my food shopping and have already saved $840 by utilizing these discounted prices!  Check out my post on ‘whats in the box’ to see my go-to pick ups.

SNAP clean home products bundle – all in one container with individual inserts: all purpose cleaner, bathroom, stain remover, dishwashing along with the reusable spray bottles. Eco friendly, plant derived products, super concentrated so they last awhile.  No chemicals or other harsh products.

Use any of these or have any you’d add to the list? Let me know below!

Wishing you and yours the happiest of holidays and hope you are ready for this new year!
