Apple Cinnamon Peanut Butter Protein Balls

This has been my pre-workout go to snack. After seeing a picture of balls drizzled in peanut butter from Twist Of Lemons (@twistoflemons), I had to recreate. I added a few extra favorite sources of fiber and protein and had this snack ready in under 10 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Oats Gluten Free
  • 1/3 cup Natural Smooth Peanut Butter
  • 2 tbsp Almond Milk
  • 1/2 apple diced
  • 1 tsp Coconut Oil
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tbsp Chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp Flax seed ground

Instructions

  1. Sauté apple in coconut oil, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract.

  2. Combine ingredients in a large bowl and roll into bite-sized balls.

  3. Drizzle more peanut butter and cinnamon on top (because, why not?) and place in the fridge.

  4. Pop them for a healthy treat full of protein, fiber, and healthy fats!
